Dear friends and Colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to Rome, Italy, to celebrate the V Update IPPA Course: "Paediatric and Perinatal Pathology in the New Millennium".
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the IPPA Update course has been postponed again until 18 - 24th June 2022, the course will still be held in the Crowne Plaza Hotel- St Peter’s; Via Aurelia Antica 415, 00165 Roma.
The Crowne Plaza is an upscale hotel with a tranquil garden, an outdoor pool, Spa, gym and convenient transport links to Rome’s historic heart. World-famous attractions such as Rome’s Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel – home to Michelangelo’s spectacular frescoes – are all within reach. The hotel is just stepping away from Villa Pamphili city park and a few minutes from the old neighbourhood of Trastevere.
The academic programme is being prepared and it will cover topics in foetal, perinatal, placental, and paediatric pathology, and we are honoured with the presence of distinguished international as well as local speakers. The opening lecture will enlighten us on Roman archaeology. The social activities include tours to Ostia Antica, the Roman Catacombs, San Clements Basilica and the Roman forum. Additional excursions can be arranged through our travel agent for the free afternoons on Tuesday and Thursday
On Sunday the lectures will take place in the American University, and after the excursion to Ostia Antica we will have dinner at a typical Italian Restaurant. We hope that you will enjoy the course and that your interaction with your colleagues from many different countries will stimulate a creative exchange of ideas and will be personally rewarding.
Looking forward to receiving you in Rome!
Yours
