Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It gives us great pleasure to extend to you a warm welcome to the beautiful country of Croatia for the first time. We are thrilled to host the 43rd IPPA Course at the luxurious Le Meridien Lav in the stunning city of Split.
The Le Meridien Lav is a perfect venue for your stay, with its modern amenities and stunning coastal location. You will have access to spacious guest rooms with sea views, an on-site spa, fitness center, outdoor pools, and a private beach. The Gala Dinner will also take place in the hotel, so no need to walk or drive.
In addition to the course, we have organized some exciting tours for you to explore the historical town of Split. You will have the opportunity to experience the rich cultural heritage of the town with its famous Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can stroll through the charming streets, visit museums, and enjoy the local cuisine at traditional restaurants.
We have also arranged a visit to the magnificent Klis Fortress, which offers panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. The fortress has a rich history, dating back to ancient times and has been featured in several popular TV series.
Finally, you will have the chance to visit the Stella Croatica, where you can learn about traditional Croatian crafts and see some stunning handcrafted products. It is a unique opportunity to witness the skill and talent of the local artisans.
The end of September in Split, Croatia, is characterized by mild temperatures, with an average high of 24°C (75°F) and an average low of 17°C (63°F). The weather is generally warm and sunny with occasional rain showers or storms, making it a great time to visit the city with fewer crowds and pleasant conditions.
